Brian N. Burns
Mr. Burns is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Grayhawk Capital. His prior venture capital experience was as Vice President of two venture capital firms, SunVen Capital and Anderson & Wells, and later, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of El Dorado, the venture arm of Pinnacle West Capital Corp. He began his business career at Arthur Andersen & Co. where he became Senior Manager in the Audit Division.
Mr. Burns has served on the board of 16 privately held companies. A sample of prior successful investments includes: Carefx (acquired by Harris Corp), CellzDirect (acquired by Invitrogen), and Golf Now (acquired by Comcast).
Mr. Burns holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Sherman I. Chu
Mr. Chu is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Grayhawk Capital. Prior to co-founding Grayhawk in 1999, Mr. Chu was a Partner at the predecessor firm of Cornerstone Equity Partners. He began his venture capital career with Banc One Capital Partners as Associate and later Assistant Vice President.
Mr. Chu has served on the boards of 15 privately held companies. A sample of prior successful investments includes: New Century Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: NEW), AccountNow (acquired by GreenDot), ESS (acquired by IHS), QCSI (acquired by Trizetto), and ITax Group (acquired by First Advantage).
Mr. Chu holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Arizona.

Brian S. Smith
Mr. Smith, Managing Partner, joined Grayhawk Capital in 2011 with previous venture capital experience as the Managing Director of Peninsula Ventures and Dominion Ventures, and as an Entrepreneurial Fellow at CID Equity Partners. He began his business career as an Emerging Business Services Consultant at Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells.
During his career, Mr. Smith has invested in more than 25 early stage technology startups and has served on the Board of DIrectors of 15 portfolio companies. A sample of prior successful investments includes: BroadHop (acquired by Cisco), Coinstar (NASDAQ: CSTR), Communispace (acquired by Omnicom), Efficient Networks (NASDAQ: EFNT), P-Com (NASDAQ: PCOM), PowerQuest (acquired by Symantec), Quality Care Solutions (acquired by Trizetto), and Ribbit (acquired by BT Group).
Mr. Smith holds a MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a BS degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.

Mr. Bolel is a Venture Partner at Grayhawk Capital. He also serves as President and CEO of the Arizona Israel Technology Alliance. With over a decade of experience in the area of new business development, marketing, funding Acquisition, start-ups and general operations management, Mr. Bolel has been instrumental in building organizations from the ground up. He offers the highest level of analytical skills, starting with evaluation of the company, vision and strategy, determining the budget and expenditures, sourcing and hiring the most qualified candidates and ensuring investments are forthcoming and available for continuing growth and profit.
Mr. Bolel holds an MBA from Walden University and Bachelors from Tannenbaum College.
Mr. Glenn is the Associate of Grayhawk Capital, and has been with the firm since 2016.
Mr. Glenn has started numerous businesses, and has consulted for both early stage technology companies and venture firms across the Healthcare and Logistics verticals.
Mr. Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University.
